Saint Photios Orthodox Theological Seminary holds its second commencement exercise.

On Sunday, May 23, the Saint Photios Orthodox Theological Seminary held its second commencement exercise in the Seminary auditorium. A welcome address was delivered by the Most Reverend Bishop Dr. Auxentios, Rector of the Seminary. Addresses were then delivered by the Very Reverend Archimandrite Dr. Patapios, Dean of the Seminary; the Most Reverend Sergios, Bishop Emeritus of Portland, who shared some very edifying anecdotes from the life of St. Silouan the Athonite; Reader Timothy Granger, one of the graduates; and Mr. Alexei Bushunow, Communications and Development Director for the Seminary who delivered the closing remarks. The addresses were punctuated by the singing of the Great Doxology by the choir of the Convent of Saint Elizabeth the Grand Duchess of Russia.

His Eminence conferred the Bachelor of Theology degree on two members of the Brotherhood of the Saint Gregory Palamas Monastery, Schemamonk Father Vlasie and Father Innocent, Reader Timothy Granger, and Kira Rapp. A banquet was served by the Mothers of the Convent and the students in the Seminary Dining Hall. Congratulations to the graduates of 2021!
